The Investigative Engineer's Association (I-ENG-A), is a North American Association of engineers organized to provide the best resources in the form of investigative engineering by qualified claims support professionals.ÃÂ This organization has brought together independently qualified and established engineering firms with excellent reputations, throughout North America and abroad.ÃÂ Our experts utilize their extensive knowledge to assist claim professionals in settling issues related to the disposition of claim and litigation related to claim issues.
When claims prove to be legitimate, Complere is trained to be alert to upcode and betterment, as well as to identify cost-effective methods of repair in order to contain expenditures.ÃÂ Our engineers rely on their knowledge of traditional aspects of engineering, structural, electrical and mechanical, and are trained to apply their traditional engineering knowledge and skills in a manner that satisfies the particular needs of claims professionals and claim litigation specialists.
I-ENG-A members are also cross-trained in non-traditional investigative methods such as fire-related origin and cause, as well as accident analysis and reconstruction, (both auto and bodily injury).
Therefore, the Complere I-ENG-A professional can provide comprehensive analyses saving both time and money, by avoiding cost duplication while providing thorough service to the busy claims professional.

Investigative & Forensic Experience
In addition to our extensive design experience the staff members at Complere Engineering Group have been involved in numerous projects involving inspection and evaluation of existing facilities. In many instances the purpose of this evaluation was to prepare for modifications or upgrading of equipment and/or facilities. In many other cases, however, these evaluations were to provide recommendations on repair of damaged equipment and facilities.
This latter fieldwork has been at the request of a variety of clients. In the industrial field we have normally been retained directly by the owner but often in the residential or commercial field we have been retained by an insurance company or legal firm to provide advice, reports and/or testimony on various problems.
Because Complere Engineering Group is a widely diversified engineering company, we have been involved in a broad range of mechanical, electrical and structural problems. These cases could be as simple as a cracked floor, a poorly wired electrical panel or a malfunctioning conveyor, to something as major as a total roof collapse, death from an electrical shock or an ammonia system failure.
We have also been involved in several areas of risk management. We have provided complete seismic retrofits for several warehouses, as well as seismic upgrades to individual pieces of equipment. Fall Protection has been a major issue with several industrial clients, while building remodels for ADA compliance has been an issue with other clients.
